Massage on the Road
One of the best things about being a Massage Therapist is you can take your profession on the road with you. I love to travel and attend concerts and music festivals, and for the duration of my career I’ve been able to incorporate massage into these hobbies.
I’ve been bringing massage to the masses at many different music festivals such as North West World Reggae Fest, Trinity Tribal Stomp, Waterfront Blues Festival, The Newberry Music festival, and many more. I’ve worked backstage and behind the scenes at Pickathon, Oregon Country Fair, Barnum and Bailey Circus, and for numerous bands and musicians. Some of my favorite experiences include working backstage for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bob Dylan’s Band, Nine Inch Nails, Foster the People, The Green, and Panic at the Disco.
I was also lucky enough to land a job doing massage and teaching yoga at a beautiful lodge in the road-less jungles of Costa Rica. The lodge was only reachable by boat, and it takes a steep hike through the jungle to get to the yoga platform overlooking the gulf. So fun! Living and working in the jungle for four months was truly a unique life changing adventure!
